Client: Cadbury - Sour Patch Kids

Owned by Cadbury and with their wide distribution network the Sour Patch brand has been experiencing rapid growth. Cadbury required a site for their Sour Patch Kids products that targeted a young demographic with tools and activities that resonates with them. The previous site was a traditional “Hero shot with copy” design format and was not attracting the type of audience or traffic numbers that the brand deserved.
How We Helped
The new Sour Patch site is loaded with tons of custom features for a young demographic: games, ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers, buddy icons, punk a friend, chain photo upload, contests, voting, eCards, celeb bio blogs, and webisodes called “PatchTV“. This is all presented in a non-traditional layout including nine user controlled background locations and 25 randomized sour patch introductions. The site also includes alternate “text only” view and mobile view with streaming video.
