Automatic’s Chief Executive Officer, Les Kocsis, today announced that the website developed for the San Diego Regional of Commerce was awarded First Place in the ‘2011 Web Site Awards’ by the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE).

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit membership organization, which helps provide a voice for San Diego businesses through advocacy, member-to-member connections and professional development. Representing more than 400,000 chamber members' employees, the Chamber is committed to organizing the business community to help make San Diego a better place to do business.

The Chamber is a critical resource for businesses across San Diego, and was in need of a dynamic yet straightforward website that provided necessary information and tools to member businesses. Automatic responded to this need by developing a strategic plan that included an engaging and user-friendly concept and design which focused on delivering information to members and other site visitors.

The new site includes jQuery image transitions, hotspots / Easter eggs, and a dynamic Events Calendar section that allows the members to view, reserve, and schedule Chamber events from one location.
